Gas Powered Pole Saw Versus Gas Powered Chainsaw
What do both the gas powered pole saw and gas powered chainsaw have in common? That's right they both cut things and they both run on gas. When deciding on what type of saw to purchase one simply need's weigh one's options and consider what type of saw best fits your need. My recommendation to any chainsaw enthusiast would be to go out and purchase both of these saws.
The difference between the two saws is really just a matter of short and tall. The chainsaw is a workhorse capable of working in tight areas as well as up close and personal. This saw can accomplish anything from trimming or cutting down trees or creating a piece of folk art using a block of wood as a canvas.
The pole saw simply extends the reach of the saw. This extension adds an extra element of safety for this saw because now the operator who before would possibly have to climb a tree could now avoid putting themselves in a potentially precarious position. The added reach of the gas pole saw adds an extra dimension because this saw's capable of jobs the regular gas chainsaw would not be able to accomplish.
Modern saw technology offers potential owners two distinctly different paths when it comes to what type of technology they want their saw to operate with. Those choices are gas powered or electric. You can't go wrong with either one but here are some of the pluses and minuses that come with gas and electric powered saws. Electric saws are quieter and since they don't run on fossil fuels leave less of a carbon footprint. However they do require either a battery or need to be plugged in to an electric outlet. Obviously the electric route will require batteries to be charges and batteries do run out of juice. The old fashioned gas powered chain saw is much louder and since it runs on fossil fuels there the smell of burnt fuel and you leave behind more of a carbon footprint.
From the professional arborist to the average person that wants to maintain their property both of these saws either gas or electric would be a welcome addition to anyone's garage.
